Over 25 years in the construction industry, with particular expertise in steelwork and brickwork disputes Andrew's background is as a chartered quantity surveyor. He has been nominated by the RICS, CIC,CIArb and AICA to act as Adjudicator on over 100 construction adjudications and is frequently appointed as party representative in connection with construction disputes. Andrew is experienced in resolution of issues relating to valuation of variations, loss & expense, extensions of time, liquidated damages and defective works. He is accustomed to dealing with a various sites including commercial offices, domestic properties, residential schemes, student accommodation, hotels, care homes, hospitals, warehouse developments, sports stadia, industrial units, nuclear and waste water process engineering plants and has handled sums in dispute ranging in value from £10k - £140M.
MIKE J FORD MSc FRICS FCIArb
More than 35 years in the construction industry Mike has project managed numerous construction projects, advised on contract formation and dispute avoidance, prepared submissions for adjudication on behalf of claimants and defendants. He has been involved in preparing submissions for all types of dispute resolution proceedings including Conciliation, Expert Determination and Mediation on water and sewerage treatment schemes, nuclear plants, airports and other multi- million pound commercial ventures both nationally and internationally.
